Anupama Gupta, MD

Dr. Anupama Gupta was born and raised in Delhi, India, and earned her medical degree from D.Y. Patil School of Medicine in Mumbai. Inspired by her father's dedication to community service as both an army officer and educationist, she developed a strong passion for accessible and impactful healthcare.

Drawn to the broad scope of Family Medicine, Dr. Gupta aims to build healthier communities and advancing care in underserved areas. She chose Baptist Memorial Hospital for its strong focus on health equity and its mission-driven approach to compassionate, community-centered care.

Her professional journey includes working as a medical officer in India and nearly two years of research at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where she strengthened her foundation in evidence-based medicine and clinical decision-making.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Gupta is an avid café enthusiast who believes a good cup of coffee can uplift any day. She enjoys traveling, discovering new cultures, and satisfying her sweet tooth in pursuit of life’s little joys.

Dr. Gupta will be graduating with the Class of 2028, with a continued commitment to patient-centered care and community health.
