How to Apply
The Family Medicine Residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis Campus (NRMP Match code: 1694120C0) participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). To participate in the Main Residency Match, an applicant must be able to enter graduate medical education (GME) on July 1 in the year of the Match and must meet all requirements for entry into GME as stipulated by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME®) – Common Program Requirements, Section III.A. through III.A.3. Applicants should be sure they have fulfilled all requirements in time to have them verified by their medical school or, in the case of international medical graduates, the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG®).

A complete application consists of the following:

MSPE, or equivalent if IMG (and must be translated to English, if applicable)

Medical school transcript (a photocopy is acceptable at the time of application)

Applicants must have graduated within one year of the opening of ERAS in September of the pertinent Match year*

Transcripts from foreign medical schools must be translated to English

USMLE Steps 1 and 2 and/or COMLEX 1 and 2 (Step 2/COMLEX 2 score must be submitted via ERAS to be eligible for ranking)

ECFMG certification, if applicable (ECFMG certification must be provided to be eligible for ranking)

3 letters of recommendation
