Huntingdon, Tennessee is a charming small town with a great sense of community and a rich history. Although originally chartered in 1822 (thus the name of the local coffee shop), Huntingdon was officially established in 1830 and boasts a population of 4, 439. It is the county seat of Carroll County (pop. 28, 649) in rural West Tennessee. Huntingdon is the home to Hunter Ensley, (2024 Men’s College World Series champion) and The Dixie Carter Performing Arts and Enrichment Center. Nearby Halford Lake, with 22 miles of shoreline, is a popular weekend destination. The 31st annual Huntingdon Heritage Festival is an annual tradition that brings music, shopping, food trucks, and community members together for what many in Huntingdon call the best day of the year!
