Wellness
Our program is committed to resident and staff wellness. Residents have protected wellness time and have direct access to program psychologist and medical care. The overall family-like atmosphere fosters cohesiveness and togetherness. Our program carefully monitors individual wellness. Each resident has direct access to their faculty advisor and confidential feedback to the program director. Each resident is also offered confidential access to the ombudsman, and hospital, county, and state reporting agencies, if such a need were to arise. We follow an absolute 'no-retaliation' policy.
It’s hard to enjoy your job if you and your colleagues are constantly worked up. And stress at home is no picnic, either. Everybody has stress in life, at work and home, but there are some things you can do to deal with it, and improve your overall mental health.
Your all around well-being starts with caring for what’s most important – yourself. That’s why it is very important to make time to just focus expressly on your own mental and physical health. From a quick workout to a simple act of kindness or a personal indulgence, every action you take that makes your life and world a little better brings major benefits to your overall mental and physical well-being.
