Rita Chanda, DO

Dr. Rita Chanda is proud to call Memphis, Tennessee her home and is excited to come back to Memphis from New York to continue medical training in her home state. Over the past decade, she has lived in Manhattan, NY, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from Fordham University before obtaining her Medical Degree from Touro University Medical School New York.

She chose Family Medicine because of its emphasis on building long-term relationships with patients, providing comprehensive care across all stages of life, and making a meaningful impact within the community.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time in nature, bicycling, swimming, reading, crocheting, and playing the piano. Dr. Chanda is expected to complete her residency training in 2029.
