Suchal Atta Gondal, MD
Dr. Gondal was born and raised in an industrial town in Pakistan, an upbringing that instilled in her the values of teamwork, resilience, and systems-based care. She earned her medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical University, where caring for patients from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds deepened her understanding of the impact of healthcare access and health literacy on patient outcomes. She subsequently completed her internship training at Holy Family Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, an experience that strengthened her clinical judgment, adaptability, and ability to remain calm and effective in challenging circumstances. She later moved to Canada, where she joined Durham Cardiology as a clinical assistant gaining valuable insight into healthcare delivery within a new healthcare framework while further developing her commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care. Dr. Gondal brings a global perspective, a strong dedication to lifelong learning, and a passion for serving diverse communities.
